St. Petersburg bans PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED?!

That's right, St.Petersburg metropolitan officially banned physically challenged people from accessing the public underground transportation.

This outrageous act of discrimination against physically challenged people has been explained by the St. Petersburg metro's management as a "necessary measure" which was CAUSED by the fact that the WHOLE CITY METRO SYSTEM of the St.Petersburg city is NOT, quote unquote "handicapped accessible" - although hundreds of the physically challenged citizens of St.Petersburg use it on a daily basis.

For example, Eugenea Goorova, a student of St. Petersburg University was forbidden from accessing the metropolitan station just yesterday, after she got an A mark at the annual exams and was going home - !because she was in a wheel-chair!.

This goes against all moral and/or common senses! I would like if the people on the Internet who would read this would sign a petition to the St.Petersburg mayor to stop this outrageous abuse of human rights.
Thank you.
